Do I need a driving licence for a quad or buggy?
No licence is needed. You receive a safety briefing and a short practice lap before setting off, and the guide leads the convoy at a controlled speed. Minimum ages apply for driving; children can ride as passengers with an adult.
What should I wear on a desert safari?
Closed shoes, light long trousers and sunglasses. We provide a headscarf to protect against dust. Evenings in winter can be cold in the desert, so bring a warm layer between November and March.
Morning or sunset — which is better?
Sunset trips have the best light and include dinner on most programmes. Morning trips are cooler in summer (May to September) and usually quieter.
Is the Bedouin village real?
