“We were asked to pay extra at the marina / island / desert camp.”

One confirmed price. Everything listed as included is paid for — entry fees, island transfers, safety gear, lunch. Optional extras are listed with typical prices before you book, and nobody on our trips will ask you for a surprise fee.

“Our pickup was two hours late and nobody told us why.”

Your exact pickup time arrives the evening before, and if traffic or another hotel delays the driver, we message you. You are never left waiting in a lobby wondering if you've been forgotten.

“The boat was overcrowded and oversold.”

Every departure has a capacity limit and we tell you honestly whether a trip is a shared boat, a small group or private — so you choose the atmosphere you want.

“A five-hour safari with only 25 minutes on the quad.”

Each trip page states the real activity time — how long you actually snorkel, ride or explore — not just the total hours door to door.

“We were dragged into papyrus and alabaster shops.”

Shopping stops are optional and clearly labelled. Tell your guide you'd rather skip them and that's the end of it — no pressure, no commission-driven detours.

“They charged $40 for photos we never agreed to.”

Photos and videos are always optional, with the price told before anyone starts shooting. You pay only if you want them.

“Nobody on the boat seemed ready for an emergency.”

We work only with licensed boats and operators that carry life jackets in adult and child sizes and first-aid kits, with guides who brief every guest before entering the water.

“The dolphins were chased and the camels looked exhausted.”

No captive dolphin shows, no chasing wild dolphins, no animals in glass boxes. We check how partners treat their camels and horses — and we drop those who don't treat them well.

“People stood on the coral and left rubbish in the desert.”

Reef rules are explained on every sea trip — no standing on or touching coral — and we ask our partners to take every piece of waste back with them.

“The guide didn't speak our language / everything was translated twice.”

Guide languages are confirmed when you book. On private trips we match you with a guide in your language whenever possible.

“The advert promised things that never happened.”

We describe trips as they really are — including what can go wrong. Dolphins are never 'guaranteed', long days are called long, and the illustrations on our site are clearly illustrations.

“We didn't know how tipping worked.”

Tipping is optional and explained in plain words on our travel tips page, so you can thank the crew in a way that feels right to you.
