Day Trips from El Gouna
El Gouna is a lagoon town north of Hurghada with its own marina at Abu Tig, and many guests assume excursions must start in Hurghada. They don't: Hurghada Day Trips collects from every El Gouna hotel, and some sea trips can depart directly from the El Gouna side.
Because El Gouna sits north, it is the closest area to the Dolphin House reef at Shaab El Erg — which makes the early-morning Dolphin House trip slightly less early for you. For Luxor and Cairo trips, however, pickups are the first of the day, so set an alarm.
